Discussion of Death Be Not Proud

In the lit circle today, one of the things that we talked about was Colten G.'s sister, Taylor who had a tumor that eventually turned out to be cancer. He could connect to the character, Johnny's family and their feelings as Johnny was dying of cancer. His sister could connect to Johnny himself. Colten discussed the things he had to go through and his sister. We talked about how back then when he died of cancer that there was really no chance for him. But if he would've lived in these days there would have been a better chance at him living then there was for him then. Although Johnny did die, Colten's sister lived through hers.
